Quick and easy no bake puffed rice and millet bars are a great healthy snack on the go. Made with delicious almond butter, flax seeds and dried currants.
Yield: About 8 large bars
Line an 8 x 8 inch square dish with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl add puffed rice, puffed millet, flax seeds and dried currants. Mix well.
Add in almond butter and brown rice syrup. With clean hands, mix all ingredients together until coated well.
Transfer the mixture to a prepared dish and cover with a sheet of parchment paper. Press down the mixture into the dish until well packed and even.
Place in the freezer and for about 30 minutes. Remove from the freezer and cut into pieces.
Feel free to mix with other seeds, nuts and fruits.
